Milestone

Today is a milestone for the Little Bean. She is now pacifier free! She has taken a nap witout using a pacifier and she survived. (there were doubts). I know we waited quite some time to take the pacifier away, but she only used it to go to sleep. This past week, she was getting a little bit too carried away with the whole thing and was demanding it when she wasn't prepared to go to sleep. She was also holding on to it after she woke up in the morning. Now it is GONE! No bottle! No pacifier! She is on the road to being a big girl!

I tried to take it away a few weeks ago, and thought that the whole process was going very easily. Until I went to get the baby when she woke-up. She had found a pacifier hidden away in the bumper of the crib and had it in her mouth. Sneaky little girl!


This morning, she decided that she didn't want me to feed her oatmeal and that she could do it herself, so I let her. This was the result!

The puppies are enjoying the warm weather and laying in the sun in the yard. The Puppy Bean lay out there all morning, being so good and just soaking up the warmth!
