Garage Sale Gold!
Yesterday, our HOA had a community yard sale and The Hus band and I thought we might as well take a look t see what was out there. We scored what I call "garage sale gold!" We found a super nice rocking chair for only $15. I plan on putting it in the Little Bean's room so we can rock her and read books and what not. We also found this little shopping cart for only $3. The Little Bean loves it and has been pushing her "babies" as well as a lovely collection of rocks that she picked up yesterday while outside.
We also scored this cute little cleaning cart which our daughter is pretty excited about. Unfortunately the Puppy Bean is also excited about it and tries to chew up all the pieces of cleaning gear. The Little Bean walked around almost all day yesterday with the little dust brush clutched in one hand. She would not put it down, even if she was trying to do other things like, climbing up stairs. When I finally pried it from her hands so she could climb the stairs, she pitched such a fit that I gave her back the crazy dust brush.
The Little Bean also scored a new "baby" yesterday. Our friend T came over yesterday and we drove with her down to pick up a packet for her to run a half marathon today. She brought the Little Bean a new cabbage patch kid. The Little Bean was super thrilled about her new baby. This baby was even cooler because it came with an ice cream cone to feed the baby. The Little Bean was over the moon and sat "feeding" her baby all evening. She even tried to "feed" mama and Daddy the ice cream cone too. Crazy kid also tried to eat the ice cream.
These photos have nothing to do with the post. I haven't taken photos of the things on the post yet, but I plan too. Anyway, these photos are of the Little Bean's Ark toy. We had put it in the basement for a few weeks along with some of the other toys she had gotten bored with. While down there doing laundry the other day, she found it and insisted that we bring it upstairs. She played with it, by herself, for probably an hour! Now, it is back in the boring pile of boring toys. Maybe it should go back down to the basement again.
