Nudist Gypsy Acrobats

We have confirmed that the Little Bean originally came from nudist gypsy acrobats. This is the only explaination for her crazy behavior! The child insists on taking her pants, shirt, and diapers off all the time. It is a constant battle to keep this child dressed. She also likes to put pants on, but then immediately takes them off again! If we are outside and it is warm, I have just given up and let her be naked. She seems so happy that way. Hopefully, this is just a phase and will go away as she gets older. She continues to run a thousand miles an hour, climbing, jumping, rolling, and wiggling. She runs into things, falls over things, and jumps off things. It is crazy! Everyone who is with her for more than just a few minutes, looks at me and asks, "Is she always this energetic?" It cracks me up, because I guess I am getting used to it and don't notice her energy.

Here is a photo of her at the pool last year! As you look at the new photos, it is crazy how much bigger she is this year! She is finally starting to look like a little girl.

Yesterday, we went for a swim at Tic Toc's pool. The Little Bean surprised all of us by her fearlessness with the water. She treated it like a slide at the park. She would jump off the edge to anyone who was waiting in the pool. After being caught, she would wiggle her way to the stairs, climb up, walk to the edge and jump again. A few times, we even let her go under water, she didn't even care. She came up, sputtered a bit, then started the whole process all over again.

She also played with a ball and threw it back and forth to Tic Toc while I held her. She sat in her float for a minute, but just like last year, she wanted OUT! She wanted one of us to hold her and spin her around or throw her up in the air. She is such a little water bug.

Of course, you can imagine her reaction when it was time to get out of the pool. She cried and cried. I think we are going to take her back tomorrow so she can swim again.

It is just amazing how much she loves the water. I thought maybe she would be afraid of the pool this year and only want to play in the kiddie pool, but she was the total opposite.
