Traveling Beans

We are traveling again! This time we are down visiting the Gran for a bit, then we are taking her to THE BEACH! I can't wait to get to THE BEACH! We are going to play in the sand, swim, kayak, and maybe even get the old surfboard out and see if we can remember how it all works. Oh, and we are going to search for shark's teeth! This is going to be the coolest!

This week is a pretty big one for us. The Puppy Bean turned 9 months old. I think maybe that means his growing will slow down a bit now. He should just start bulking up a little bit. Not sure if that is possible for his skinny little frame, but we will see. He is currently taller than the Big Bean and weighs about 60 pounds. I am guessing he will end up around 70 or so pounds, maybe a bit more. He has calmed down significantly lately, but of course, this is a relative statement.

Thursday is the Little Bean's half birthday! She will be 1 and a half! It is hard to believe that she is already 18 months old. She has so many words now and uses them as well as a lot of gobbly gook! When she is speaking her crazy baby language, she actually gets annoyed when you don't understand what she is saying. Her latest big phrase is, "Mama, look!" It really sounds more like, "Maaaa, ooook!" But we know what she is saying.

While visiting the Gran, the Little Bean has been wreaking havoc as usual. She has been chasing the Really Big Bean all over the place. The poor dog is so sweet and gentle, that she just lays there while the baby aggravates her. Recently, she sought refuge in the kennel. The Little Bean LOVES to play in dog kennels and went in after her. She even closed the door up and sat inside with the dog. The whole thing culminated when the Little Bean grabbed the pup around the muzzle with both hands and gave her kisses! That was too much for the Really Big Bean who vacated the area as quickly as her poor old lady bones would let her!
