I Scream, You Scream

The Bean screams for ice cream.
For the past couple of months the baby has not been particularly interested in ice cream, but tonight, she was pretty excited by the Daddy's after supper snack.
The process went something like this....






On a different note, the Little Bean is growing and learning tons of stuff! She has started to verbalize about a million words to include the ever popular, "no." Up till now, she just shook her head, but in the past two days she has been saying the word. She has learned how to open the cabinets that have child proof locks on them, and is also big into feeding the dogs food, rather than eating their food. This is a huge improvement. Yesterday, she did the cutest thing EVER. The Husband had gotten off work early and we were putting away clothes upstairs in the the baby's room. I climbed into her crib and told her night night, fully expecting her to freak out. Rather than getting all weirded out by seeing her mom in her bed, she got me a blankie, said, "nigh nigh," and closed the door. It totally melted my heart!

FYI, we are going hiking and camping this weekend, so there will be a short break in postings, but hopefully lots of pictures when we get back. This will be both the Little Bean's and the Puppy Bean's first tent camping trip! It should prove interesting! Cross your fingers that we don't encounter any bears!
