Kayaking on the Lake

We decided to dust off my old kayak and take it out onto the lake on Saturday to splash around. The Little Bean LOVES the lake and you can't hardely get her out of the water. The same is true of the Big Bean. She spent the entire time fetching her frisbee from the water and chasing the Puppy Bean around the shoreline. The Husband and I took turns taking the kayak out while the other played with the Bean's on the shore. We all had a great time and enjoyed poking around in the water.


This was the face of the Little Bean when we first got out of the car at the Lake. She was so excited that she was stomping her feet.

This was the Daddy out on the lake. The Daddy has done a lot of canoeing, but has never kayaked before. I think he liked it, but he won't admit it because he thinks canoes are better because more than one person can ride together.

The Little Bean had to try sitting with the Mama in the kayak too.

Finally, the Mama got to take her own kayak out for a spin on the lake. I like kayaks better because you are all by yourself and in control of your own boat. I guess that shows a fundamental difference between the Husband and I. :)
