Lancaster County Photos
Here are a few photos from our trip up to Amish country.
This was the standard mode of transport for the younger Amish set. The older people rode with the horse and buggies, but all the kids used the bike/scooter hybrids!
My very favorite thing about Amish country is their laundry lines! These things were about five miles long! They even had a pulley system on some of them and the line went up to the top of the barn or silo. I am not sure if they used gas power or solar power to help do laundry, but if not these poor women must spend most of their day scrubbing all of that laundry!

We also went to Hershey while we were up in PA. The Little Bean was super tired by the time we got there, but was reinvigorated by the massive amounts of free chocolate she ate. By the time we left the chocolate factory the child was covered and had it all over her shirt and pants too!
