Happy Birthday (in a few days)

Because the husband and I are not going to be here next weekend, we decided to have the Puppy Bean's birthday celebration tonight! Part of the decision was my desire for an ice cream cake, but the Puppy Bean will take his party whenever he can get it.

Anyway, the Husband and I got him a few bones, a cool new toy, and the ever important ice cream cake. He waited patiently like a good boy for us to take his photo, and the Big Bean was also a super good girl and waited patiently for the photos, and also for the yummy piece of cake that she was given.

The Puppy Bean has made huge improvements since we first adopted him. He is far from being a well trained dog at this point, but he is so much better than he was just a few months ago. He still needs to work on how wound up he gets when we are in the car or when certain visitors come around. He needs a lot of work on the flight risk issue, but he has improved dramatically in that area as well. He is doing really well with sitting and waiting, and he is allowed to stay free in the house when we run errands and has behaved perfectly during these times. I am so proud of my boy, even though sometimes I threaten his life because he is insufferable.
