Labor Day Adventures

After a bit of coordination, we are going hiking and camping for Labor Day! Even better, we are going to Assateague Island! YEAH!! I am super excited and we leave tomorrow for our little adventure. Now, instead of being afraid of bears for three days, I can fear wild horses trampling our campsite instead. It really isn't camping for me unless I lay awake all night listing to every bump and thump and convincing myself that it is a wild hungry animal intent on ravaging me for its late night snack.

Anyway, we are all pretty excited since we are finally going to get to do some back country camping instead of boring campground camping. The first night the Husband and I are going to crash at the campground, but the second night, we are going to meet our friend M and hike out to our camping area. It should be pretty fun. Hopefully we will see lots of horses (at a safe, non trampling distance.)
