Rough Day

Today was pretty difficult. The Little Bean isn't feeling well, as you will be able to see in the photos below. In addition, my pregnancy is really taking its toll on me this time. I have felt terrible for the past six weeks, and today it reached a new level.

The poor poor husband/daddy has been left to pick up the slack. Because he loves me, he took the Little Bean to the park this afternoon and I stayed home and just relaxed. It would have been great if I didn't feel so bad.

Despite the Little Bean feeling bad, she has learned a new word/concept. I thought she did it a few times before, but today it was certain. She walked in from the study and said, "Mama, c'mere!" She wanted to show me that the Puppy Bean had chewed up a pencil and left it on the floor. Before now, our toddler has been patting her leg and saying, "go" when she wanted us to come with her.

Her other word/concept that has come up is "MINE!" She says that when she grabs her blankies.

The Little Bean's Aunt P got her this Kitty Cat shirt recently and the girl LOVES it. She points to the cat and says, "Meow" over and over again. It even works when she is upset, you can distract her from crying by asking her what is on her shirt. She immediately stops fussing and starts meowing.

Here is our sickly girl. I was chopping up lettuce for supper and she wanted to sit on the counter. The rule was that she could sit up there so long as she didn't touch the lettuce or the knife. Notice where she has one single finger.
