Trackers

I don't have a photo of any of the beans today, but I do have a cool photo of a track we found when we were doing our land naving the other day. I think it is a possum or a raccoon, but am leaning more towards possum because I think raccoon tracks show a thumb print. The one in the photo was the best I could do as the other tracks were stepped on by human and deer tracks, so you couldn't see them. If we had been able to see them it would be easier to decide between possum and raccoon because of the pattern, but we are forced to use just this one, and we don't know if it is a front or back foot. Oh, the excitement. Yes, I realize that I am a complete dork, and at 30 years of age, I have embraced that dorkiness. Not to mention that my husband is a dork lover, and I think that is worse than being a dork to begin with. :)


UPDATE: I just looked it up online and the track is a raccoon track. I was backward, the possum tracks look like they have the thumb. examples:
