Confirmation

The Future Bean got his big ultrasound today and decided to show us that he is in fact a boy! Not even a smidgen of a doubt! Everything looked good and he cooperated very well except in the full face photo that the tech needed. He chose to hide during that particular bit. I thought it was funny that he was more than willing to show off his "tools" but shy about his face. Strange! Apparently, he is already in competition for weirdest kid with his big sister! She is way ahead of him though!

The Little Bean went with us to the appointment and kept busy entertaining the crowd in the waiting room. Her new "thing" is to take off her shoes and socks, replace her shoes, and then put the socks on her hands. She will walk around for hours with socks on her hands. And it isn't cold, so that can't be her excuse. She is just weird, that is all! I don't fight with her about it, because, really, what is the point. So we just ignore all the strange looks we get from people at the grocery store, etc. The people in the waiting room suggested that she get a set of gloves for her birthday, or at least mittens. Maybe we will try that. More than likely, she will ignore the mittens and just stick with her socks.
