Of Tractors and Hunting

While the Pap was here, he and the Little Bean worked to finish loads of chores. One of which was to take the "bush hog" up to the barn so as to free up some space in the shop. The Pap even let the Little Bean drive a bit until she started steering the poor tractor towards the trees, the corn crib, the fence, and the watering trough. I don't think he will let her drive the tractor all by herself for quite some time!


While the Little Bean was working on all her chores, her father was out getting meat for the family! :)

This is a photo of the husband hiking out of the hunting area with a million pounds of meat on his back. Who knew that they made back pack things for carrying meat! So much I didn't know about hunting.
This is a photo of some young black bears up in the trees. They did not come to be on the dinner table because they were just little baby cubs!
Here is a view of where the Husband was doing his hunting. They day they got up there they hiked all over the area to see everything and plan their routes!
