Giddyup, Dadoo!

Poor Dadoo was sucked into the Giddyup game. After the Daddy told her that he was finished playing "neigh" for the night, the Little Bean must have decided that Dadoo was the next best horsey in the house. Luckily, the Puppy Bean is super mellow when it comes to his sister and he let her sit on him for a few minutes. I fully expected him to stand up and dump her off the moment she put any weight on his back, but he just lay there looking stricken.

The Little Bean and her puppy brother get along really well. I think it is because he is still such a puppy and likes to rough house as much as she does. They take turns annoying each other and crossing the "too rough" line. They are also equally clumsy and fall and step on each other all the time.

A note on the Future Bean. We had a prenatal appointment last week and everything is right on track. It seems as though he is going to be as feisty as his sister as the poor Doc was unable to get a clear heartbeat because the baby kept kicking the equipment away and then wiggling into a new position to avoid detection. I think that is a pretty common reaction, but it still made me laugh. If he is going to be obstinate and uncooperative, then he will fit right in with our family! :) It is hard to believe that I am already starting my seventh month of pregnancy. It has gone by super fast and the Little Bean will have a little brother sooner than we all can imagine. The husband is threatening to dye all of the Little Bean's old clothes blue so we won't have to buy anything new for her brother. I have tried to convince him that ruffles, flowers, and butterflies, regardless of color, are not acceptable for boys.

  1. The best part of this picture is how the Bean has her arm thrown up like a bull rider! Hysterical and very typical of your daredevil Bean. For all his craziness, Daddo has his moments of sweetness. AND yeah for the Baby Bean and all his covertness!
