A Pox on Pre School...
...germy children, and their evil parents who allow them to come to school while contagious! Sophia is suffering from her first bout of strep throat. She has had a temp of 103.8 which scared me terribly. She is taking her medicine and is starting to feel better now. Unfortunately, the goofy Hank-o seems to have gotten the bug now as he is running a nasty fever too. Poor little kids.
I guess we will just have to get used to this as getting sick is something of a rite of passage when kids go to school.
I will try to get the blog up again soon, but I don't think anyone wants to see photos of the kids whining around.
ps - there was a lady at the beach the other day with a child clearly suffering from CHICKEN POX! Seriously! I don't know how long chicken pox is contagious, but keep that kid at HOME!!! Even if other kids have had the vaccination there is still a risk for shingles!
Rat the lady out to the NHS!!! ;) Seriously, chicken pox? That's atrocious and the lady should be shot. I'm sorry the beans are feeling so sick. - M
ReplyDeleteI agree. Even if you have had the chicken pox before, or the vaccine. Certian people (i.e. those with a compromised immune system!!)should never be around someone who is contagious! YIKES!
