The Gypsy Wagon
Well, we did it. We rented an RV and we are now on the road to the Hoover Dam. The Husband has been wanting to go there for the past two years, and now we finally get to do it. We will camp at Lake Meade tonight and then tour the Dam tomorrow.
The RV has officially been dubbed, "The Gypsy Wagon." It is so loud and rattling and the drawers keep coming open whenever we turn. The thing is so full of our stuff that it really looks like a Gypsy Wagon on the inside.
The Little Bean loves it. When it is bumpy she makes an, "Ahhhh" sound that warbles with the bumps. She thinks it is great. That could have something to do with the fact that she is a wild gypsy baby. She feels right at home in the wagon.
The Big Bean isn't so impressed. She doesn't like it that it is so bumpy and wiggly. She can't seem to get a firm footing and she doesn't feel very secure. We brought her puppy bed and she has been laying on that in between the front seats, but is still clearly uncomfortable. I thought she would lay in the bed in the way back, but she is not interested at all. Hopefully as the days go by she will get more comfortable.
So far we only have one photo of the Gypsy Wagon. We pulled it up to the house and loaded it up with our junk. It was so freaking hot that no one was in the mood to pose for photos. I managed to get this one picture.
We will post more photos tomorrow.
Good Luck to all of you! Hope you guys have fun. I love Lake Mead we used to go their all the time when we were younger.
ReplyDeleteHave fun on your wild gypsy adventures and watch out for the BEARS!!!!! They're evil stalkers and eat people. :) Or at least I understand paranoid schizophrenics believe so. - MJ
