We Are Going Home!
Yesterday we explored Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. Unfortunately, it was raining like crazy. Then the rain turned to snow and hail and it was generally miserable. The Little Bean let her feelings about being cold and uncomfortable be known. She wasn't shy at all about telling us that she was cold and was in no mood for hiking. Last night we stayed at a KOA, and right now, we are headed home! Attached are some photos of Sequoia.
The thing that makes me want to cry is that as soon as we get home, we have to clean the RV and turn it in, then in two days the movers come and start our pack out. THEN, we have to clean the house for inspection, and begin our cross country journey to the next duty station. The plan is to stop and see Uncle Giant and Aunt K and then head up to the Husband's hometown for a quick hello before going to the next duty station. THEN, we have to find a place to live, receive our shipment, and unpack. We are going to be SOOO busy. (I wouldn't have it any other way!) :)
If you look closely, you can see the baby bear climbing around in the tree. He was super high up. We decided that his mama left him up there while she went to do mama bear things (ravaging cars and drinking the blood of small blonde girls.)
We had to take this picture about six times because I kept messing it up. By the time we were finished the Husband was drenched and not a little bit cranky about it.
Why in the world is my cousin wearing shorts?? It even looks cold!
