Daily Walk To The Park Or...
the ultimate test of patience.
The daily walk to the park today was quite the adventure. Anticipating that the Puppy Bean not wanting to walk home, I decided to take the wagon. We only made it half a block before it was clear that the wagon is a two-person operation and it is impossible to do it with just one adult. After wrestling everyone back to the garage we switched over to the stroller. Things would have went much more smoothly then, except for two crucial issues.
1. The Puppy Bean is currently in a phase where is afraid of EVERYTHING. It is called the "fear and avoidance" phase and it occurs between 10 and 12 weeks of age.
2. The neighbor kid has this stupid remote control car that is REALLY loud and he runs it up and down the road and around the cul-de-sac.
These two factors combined made for a completely panicked puppy, an antsy big dog who really wanted to go to the park and play frisbee, and a crying baby who apparently didn't like the noise of the stupid car either.
We eventually made it to the park and they all had fun. It just seems as though the getting there and back are the tough parts. Thankfully, the puppy bean walked all the way home with little to no problems.

The Little Bean has decided that socks are evil and must be pulled off her feet no matter how cold it is outside.
Proof that we did make it to the park.

The Puppy Bean is too little to chase his sister when she gets the frisbee, so he waits in a predator crouch until she comes back with the frisbee, then he leaps out at her. They both think it is super fun.
Your park makes me jealous.... You live someplace that has seasons! Although I wont be jealou when it is snowing there. I am a snow sissy!
