Hudini Bean

Below you can see that the Little Bean has discovered a way to escape her high chair. This is especially useful when the Mama is feeding her disgusting things like those green beans that she hates.

Step 1: Push heels on the center divider and push.
Step 2: Get right leg out while continuing to push off with left leg.
Step 3: Discuss further escape plans with the Big Bean.
Step 4: Get caught by the Mama and try to look as sweet and cute and innocent as possible.

Not only is the Little Bean an escape artist, but she also has quite the flair for the dramatic. The drama this child displays is quite impressive. Yesterday, I fed her mashed potatoes and vegetables. It was a little baby food thing for toddlers. She was eating it for a couple of bites, as she was really hungry. Then, after getting over her initial starvation, she realized that she was eating baby food. The next spoonful I put in her mouth was met with this dramatic gagging and retching. So, I gave her a bite of peaches. No problem. Then a bite of baby food. She immediately began her gagging again. It was ridiculous. One would have thought that I had tried to feed her spoiled food covered in mold or something.

  2. What happened to her eye? Was that a war wound from trying to escape and evade? Or possibly inflicted by her rebel rousing siblings? :) -K

  3. Oh, she is pretty evasive! Especially when going for the dog water and I am trying to catch her.

The injury is from a fight she had with the stone wall out back. It wasn't pretty.
