More Cool Stuff

I had to put this photo up because I am missing the husband a bit. I will see him soon, as he is coming down for a few days. Can't wait till he gets here! Today we went to the Mardi Gras Museum. It was a huge warehouse full of floats and props for the floats and all that sort of stuff. We saw how the floats were made and also watched as they made floats for this years Mardi Gras parades. We also saw a bunch of floats that were waiting to go in the parades coming up in the next few days. Saturday is our first big parade.

All of the photos below are of different props for the floats that we saw. They had all sorts of different things from busts of presidents to movie characters to famous people. It was super cool. The Gran was particularly interested in the Alien.
When the Little Bean saw this giant gorilla, she pointed to it and said the Big Bean's name. It was pretty funny.
I don't know how Killer Clowns From Outer Space made the float themes, but we were pretty excited.
