Pee Pee in the Potty and Other Excitement

The Little Bean had to test her father's chocolate chip cookies!

The Little Bean is making progress with her potty efforts. Each time she wakes up, she has been sitting on the potty and making pee pee. When I put her on the potty I tell her to make pee pee and she concentrates so hard and makes funny faces. Then she makes the pee pee and makes even funnier faces as she listens to the sound of the pee pee hitting the water!

Yesterday, we were in the living room and the Daddy asked her where she makes pee pee. She took him by the hand led him to the bathroom and showed him the potty. It was so cute. So I think that she does have some concept and understanding of the idea of pee peeing in the potty. She is clearly not ready to tell us when she needs to pee pee or to hold it or anything, but she is understanding how to make pee pee and where it should go. I think that is fantastic.

Other Excitement ----
Yesterday, I was training the pups and they were nicely taking turns. Sit, down, settle, stay, and then switch. This was going well until the Puppy Bean got bored with taking turns and started biting his sister. So, I tethered him to the desk chair.
First off - I know it was a stupid idea to clip the dog to a chair that has wheels.
Okay, now that that is established.
The Puppy Bean was upset that he was tethered and he started whining and barking so I took the Big Bean into the kitchen to finish her training. The Puppy Bean tried to follow us, and when he did, the desk chair followed him. Because he is a big chicken bird, he got all scared. He ran in the other direction, and the chair followed him, he spun around and ran in a new direction, but the chair kept chasing him. He kept running and the chair kept up with him and he went back and forth a few times before he totally freaked out. He sped off towards the kitchen, the chair fell over, the clip broke, and the pup launched towards me. He was so scared that he peed a few drops in the floor, and then shot into the garage. This all happened in less than 5 seconds. When he came back inside, he was quite subdued. There was not more training for a bit of time. Poor pup.
