Rainy Days

According to the news, there is a rainy system that is "pinwheeling" around our area and will last for another day and a half before it moves on. Not that I am complaining, the rain makes my flowers grow! It also gets my husband's truck seat wet when I forget and leave the window down all night! I felt like the biggest jerk in town. Poor husband had to drive to work sitting on towels. I am going to take the kids to meet him at work so we can go for a muddy run this afternoon, maybe I will bake some cookies today and take them in to make up.

It will probably work until he has to ride back home in the truck on wet towels. Maybe I should take a fresh set of towels along with those cookies! :)

In other Beany news, the Little Bean has a new and diabolical trick. When we got home from the roadtrip last night, she was poking around the kitchen. She opened one of her "beany approved" drawers and pulled out a lidless sippy cup. She took the cup over to the dog water, filled it up, then carried it over and dumped it into a full bowl of dog food! My question was WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? Why will she never grow out of the dog water obsession? Why did she think it was a good idea to make dog food cereal? Why did she try and do it again five seconds after I made her stop the first time?
The odd thing was that after the dog food soaked and got all soft, the two dogs of ours, practically competed over who got to eat the soft smushy food.
