Walking in Daddy's Shoes!

The Little Bean has taken to trying on her parents' shoes lately. it is pretty funny to see her putting her tiny little feet into her father's giant shoes!

I learned a little something today... do not give your child watermelon chunks to snack on in order to keep her quiet at the grocery store. Just in case any of you were thinking, maybe, that was a good idea. It isn't. The Little Bean started out wearing a white shirt, by the time we left the grocery store, it was completely pink from the juice of the watermelon. I never claimed to be the smartest girl in town!

In other news, we have had another successful day of using the potty. Not sure how long this is going to last, as I am convinced, the novelty will wear off and the Little Bean will be less than enthusiastic about sitting on the potty in a few more days. We will just have to wait and see.

The Puppy Bean has dog school this afternoon. I am hoping that he will not be considered the worst dog in class this week. There is another dog, Hannah, who normally barks nonstop during class. Let's just hope that tonight is her night to be the worst dog.

I think the Husband and the Puppy Bean have made a deal, and that is like making a deal with the devil. Today, I caught the Puppy Bean chewing on my favorite pair of Birenstock sandles. This is not the first time, this has happened, last time it happened was when the Husband was supervising the children. These shoes are my only real pair of shoes, I wear them all the time and have done so, since probably around 1997. That explains why they have no tread on the soles anymore. The Husband hates these shoes, as do much of my family, but I love them. Now, thanks to the Puppy Bean, they are about one more chew away from getting thrown in the garbage. So so sad.

  1. Hallelujah! Those shoes should have been (and would have been) thrown away 5 years ago. Score one for the Puppy Bean and the rest of society for when those vile things are resting in the landfill. :)
