A Trip To The Country

We spent part of the week at my parent's place and had the most fantastic time! We were so busy. Planting the garden, making Father's Day presents, visiting the zoo, visiting family, we didn't stop the whole time! The Little Bean loves her Granny Gran to distraction. She followed her around and even cried when the Gran left the room. She also spent a lot of time testing the Gran's limits. She would do all sorts of bad things and then look at the Gran and smile.

Below are some photos of the Little Bean helping us to plant tomatoes, cucumbers, and gourds. We would dig the holes and the Little Bean would put the plant into them, then we would cover them up. She did really well, until she got bored, then the gentle placing of plants into the holes turned into violent throwing of plants into holes. Finally, she just got completely bored and started walking around the garden and accidentally trampling the plants we had put in. Luckily, she didn't squish them, we checked on them days later and they were happy and green. The Little Bean also rode in the wheelbarrow. She had so much fun.

The dogs had even more fun. They ran and jumped and played all over the place. They went hunting together and even jumped a few rabbits. The dogs think the country is the best place ever!
